Hi Trying to use spotlights in a sim, but there is something wrong with my setup. I use 4 spotlights and everything looks fine when KS starts rendering but the more KS is working, 2 of the spotlights effect fades out and become non visible. All spotlights have the same values and settings. But there is probably something I am doing wrong (not an expert on KS).
So, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Well certainly a weird issue, if you for example turn Plane1 off another of the 4 lights starts to fade. I will puzzle a bit but for now it doesnât really make sense.
Tell me about it! I have tested and cant understand what is happening. Happy if you could find any wrong doing from my end 
For now I blame KS. Itâs so odd, also if you disable the âpipeâ group you will have only one light that fades

I did disable the âpipesâ and I have still 2 spots workingâŚ
What version do you currently use? I opened it at first in KS 2023 but I see in KS 2024 it seems the issue has been fixed.
I did try to simplify the scene a bit, well all different parts in 2023. So I re-tesselate the shape for a bit more detail and than merged it into one mesh. I also linked all spot light materials so I was sure they all were exactly the same (also easier to adjust it if needed). That didnât help so I loaded it in 2024 which does a better job.
I am on 2023 V12, see if I can upgrade and if that solves it⌠And good idea to merge the mesh!
Merging didnât make a difference but keeps the scene a bit more tidy. Linking the spotlight materials has more use since it makes it easier to adjust all spots in one go. As long as you want them to behave the same that is.
I think the update to 2024 will do the trick but let me know if you run into some issue. Looks like an original concept, curious what it will be.

Wow, awesome project! Just looked at the timeline as well but great way to involve a lot of people, create ideas and work with the energy supplier to realise the ideas. Can imagine it gives energy to the involved students as well!
